Will increasing memory in my PC speed up the scenery in Flight Simulator 2004?
I have had Flight Sim 2004 for quite a few years and over the time I have installed many add-ons such as scenery, airports and AI aircraft etc. I don't know if my PC can't cope with the sheer volume or I just need to increrase the memory more but I find it frustating when the scenery takes ages to load up and keep having to refresh it every so often. My current PC is Windows XP, motherboard SiS650, Intel celeron 2.20ghz model 2 stepping 7, 1024MB RAM, Dirext X 9.0, NVIDIA GeForce 6200 256MB. Any advice is appreciated thanks

Your pc specifications is fine. Probably you have to many programs loading at start-up. Remove the unnecessary ones, like microsoft office etc., you don't need to load them everytime you start. 1. Remove unwanted programs at start-up. 2. Defragment your hard disk. 3. Increase your page file. Thanks.

To take screenshots of anything, look above the number pad on your keyboard, there should be a button that says "prtscrn" which stands for print screen, then open paint, click edit, paste and just cut out or save the part you want

A netbook will probably not be able to run the flight simulator however do not confuse netbook and notebook. A netbook is a very small, portable, mobile, light weight laptop that is designed for email, word documents and internet browsing a notebook or laptop, depending on which one you get can handle a flight simulator program without much effort. Two affordable 'gaming' laptops are the Gateway FX or Dell XPS. Furthermore, you could get a PC and it would run the flight sim program just fine… Make sure you stay away from on-board graphics though. You can play the game by using your keyboard, however, I strongly suggest you getting a joystick for it. The difference is TREMENDOUS! Stay away from LOGITECH joysticks. They're crappy and are not ACCURATE enough in my opinion. Go with a SAITEK joystick instead.
